These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website (https://lilly.lk), our boutique services, and all interactions with Lilly Store LK. By accessing our website, making a purchase, booking an appointment, or communicating with us via WhatsApp or Instagram, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

Lilly Store LK is a designer fashion boutique operated by Deema Rupasinghe, located in Mirihana, Nugegoda, Sri Lanka.

1.1 Products & Services Offered

Lilly Store LK offers:

  • Hand-dyed batik sarees (limited quantity, each unique)
  • Linen office wear and smart casual pieces
  • Custom-designed sarees and outfits
  • Bridal and occasion wear
  • Styling consultations (in-store, by appointment)
  • Islandwide delivery within Sri Lanka

1.2 Appointment-Only Boutique

Our physical boutique at 28, 21 Wijesekara Mawatha, Mirihana, Nugegoda operates by appointment only. This ensures personalized, one-on-one styling consultations.

  • Hours: Mondayโ€“Saturday, 9:00 AM โ€“ 6:00 PM
  • Closed Sundays

1.3 Hand-Dyed Batik Disclaimer

Each hand-dyed batik piece is unique and unrepeatable due to the manual wax-resist dyeing process. Color variations, slight imperfections, and texture differences are intentional characteristics of authentic batik, not defects. These features add to the artistic value and exclusivity of each piece.

2.1 Ready-Made Items

Ready-made items (in-stock sarees, office wear, casual pieces) are subject to availability.

  • Orders are confirmed upon receipt of full payment
  • Items are reserved for 24 hours upon booking an appointment
  • Prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless otherwise stated
  • All prices include applicable taxes

2.2 Custom Orders

Custom design orders (custom sarees, bespoke outfits) follow a structured process:

1. Design Consultation In-person or WhatsApp consultation with Deema Free
2. Design Brief & Approval Finalize design, colors, measurements Deposit (50%) due
3. Handcrafting Deema creates your custom piece (3-6 weeks) โ€”

2.3 Custom Order Terms

  • Design Fee: Non-refundable consultation/design fee may apply for complex custom orders
  • Timeline: Custom orders typically take 3-6 weeks. Rush requests may incur additional fees
  • Modifications: Design changes requested after initial approval may incur additional fees
  • Cancellation: Custom orders cannot be cancelled once Deema begins handcrafting (after 50% deposit)
  • Measurements: Customer is responsible for providing accurate measurements. Fitting issues due to incorrect measurements are not eligible for refunds

3.1 Payment Methods

Lilly Store LK accepts the following payment methods:

  • Cash on Delivery (COD) - at boutique or on delivery
  • Bank Transfer - details provided upon request
  • PayHere (https://www.payhere.lk) - cards, Genie, Frimi
  • WebxPay or similar local gateways
  • WhatsApp payment links

3.2 Payment Processing

  • Payments are processed securely through encrypted gateways
  • Payment confirmation will be sent via WhatsApp or email
  • Lilly Store LK does NOT store full credit card details (handled by payment processor)
  • Transactions are non-reversible once completed (unless disputed)

3.3 Invoice & Receipt

  • An invoice will be sent for every purchase
  • Invoices are valid for 7 years (for tax/legal compliance)

๐Ÿ“ฆ 4. Shipping & Delivery

4.1 Delivery Area

Lilly Store LK offers islandwide delivery within Sri Lanka via courier partners.

4.2 Shipping Timeline

  • Colombo/Suburbs (Kotte area): 1-2 business days
  • Other locations: 2-5 business days
  • Remote areas: 5-7 business days
  • Custom orders: Shipped after final approval (add 1-2 days)

4.3 Shipping Costs

  • Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on location
  • Free shipping on orders over LKR 10,000 (select areas)
  • Courier name and tracking number will be provided via WhatsApp

4.4 Damage or Loss in Transit

  • Items are carefully packaged and insured
  • If an item arrives damaged, do not open it and contact us within 24 hours
  • Photos of damage must be provided
  • Lilly Store LK will arrange replacement or refund with courier verification
  • If item is lost in transit, courier will investigate (typically 10-15 business days)

4.5 Delivery Address Verification

Customer is responsible for providing a correct, complete delivery address. Lilly Store LK is not liable for:

  • Deliveries to wrong addresses due to customer error
  • Items returned by courier due to unclear address
  • Delays caused by incomplete address information

๐Ÿ”„ 5. Returns & Refunds

5.1 Return Policy

Lilly Store LK offers returns within 7 days of delivery under these conditions:

  • Item condition: Unworn, unwashed, with original tags attached
  • Quality defect: Manufacturing defects (seams, dyes, etc.)
  • Wrong item: If we sent the wrong piece by mistake
  • Size mismatch: Applies only if measurements provided were incorrect and Deema-approved

5.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Items worn, washed, or visibly used
  • Items with original tags removed
  • Custom orders (once design is approved and production begins)
  • Handmade items showing normal batik characteristics (color variation, texture)
  • Final sale or clearance items
  • Items purchased more than 7 days ago

5.3 Return Process

  1. Contact us within 7 days: WhatsApp +94 77 344 7752
  2. Provide order number and reason for return
  3. Send clear photos of the item (front, back, tags, any defects)
  4. Arrange courier pickup (customer pays return shipping unless defective)
  5. We inspect the item within 5 business days
  6. Refund issued within 10 business days (if approved)

5.4 Refund Details

  • Original purchase price is refunded (minus return shipping if applicable)
  • Refunds are issued to original payment method
  • Bank refunds may take 3-5 business days
  • Cash purchases are refunded in-store or via bank transfer

5.5 No Refunds for Change of Mind

Important: Returns due to change of mind, color preference, or fit (for standard sizes) are not eligible for refund. We recommend trying items at our boutique or requesting detailed photos before purchasing online.

๐ŸŽจ 6. Custom Design Cancellations

6.1 Cancellation Policy

Before deposit Full refund, no penalty
After 50% deposit, before production starts 50% refund (deposit is non-refundable)
After production begins (after day 3) No refund (item may be offered to waitlist at discount)
After item is completed & approved No refund (full balance must be paid)

6.2 Delay Due to Customer

If a customer requests design changes, custom measurements, or approval delays, Deema reserves the right to:

  • Extend the delivery timeline
  • Charge a revision fee for significant design changes
  • Cancel the order if no approval is given after 30 days

โš ๏ธ 7. Limitations of Liability

7.1 What We're Not Liable For

Lilly Store LK is NOT liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits or business interruption
  • Delivery delays caused by courier or weather
  • Color differences due to screen display or batik variation
  • Fit issues caused by incorrect measurements provided by customer
  • Website downtime or technical issues (we maintain 99% uptime)
  • Third-party service failures (payment gateways, couriers)

7.2 Our Liability Limit

Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the item in question.

๐Ÿ“ฑ 8. Communication & Consent

8.1 WhatsApp Communications

By providing your WhatsApp number, you consent to receive:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Order updates and delivery notifications
  • Customer support messages
  • Marketing communications (if opted-in)

8.2 Opting Out

You may opt out of marketing communications anytime by replying "STOP" to any WhatsApp message. Transactional messages (order updates, appointments) cannot be opted out unless you cancel the order/appointment.

8.3 Response Times

  • WhatsApp: Response within 2-4 hours (business hours)
  • Instagram DM: Response within 4-8 hours
  • Outside business hours: Response next business day

๐Ÿ’ผ 9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Brand & Content Ownership

All content on https://lilly.lk, including:

  • Product photos and descriptions
  • Design sketches and artwork
  • Copy and branding ("Lilly Store LK," "Lilly," logos)
  • Custom designs created by Deema Rupasinghe

are the exclusive property of Lilly Store LK / Deema Rupasinghe. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify without explicit written permission.

9.2 User-Generated Content

If you post photos or reviews of Lilly products on social media and tag @lilly.store.lk, you grant Lilly permission to repost and credit you. You retain ownership of the photo.

You agree NOT to:

  • Use abusive, discriminatory, or harassing language
  • Attempt to hack or access restricted areas of our website
  • Post spam, scams, or malicious content
  • Engage in counterfeit or fraudulent orders
  • Share or distribute our designs without permission
  • Use our services for illegal activities
  • Resell or redistribute products without authorization

Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or legal action.

11.1 Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, we will attempt to resolve it amicably via:

  1. Direct communication via WhatsApp or email
  2. Mediation by Lilly team
  3. Formal legal action (if necessary)

11.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte or Colombo, Sri Lanka.

11.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
